Lesley Manning directed the controversial cult hit Ghostwatch,written by Stephen Volk, the highest rating single drama for 48 yrs for BBC 1. Extrasensory will be the second feature from the same team since this seminal piece of work. Lesley also directed the award winning My Sisterwife BBC2 and Drovers’ Gold 2x BAFTA Cymru nominations.
More recently she has directed low budget feature films: Leila (2011), the first feature Lesley wrote and directed, selected for many festivals and winning Best Actress Award at the London Independent Film Festival and Audience & Jury Awards for Best Narrative at United Film Festival. In 2013 Lesley directed and Myf Hopkins produced Honeycomb Lodge, a controversial story of abuse, survival and recovery set in the British/Asian community, which won Best NRI in Delhi International Film Festival, recently shown at Mumbai Festival 2014.
WRITER – Stephen Volk
Stephen Volk is the BAFTA and British Fantasy Award-winning writer of ITV’s paranormal drama series Afterlife starring Lesley Sharpe and Andrew Lincoln, and the notorious (some say legendary) BBCTV “Halloween Hoax” Ghostwatch, (directed by Lesley Manning) which spooked the nation, hit the headlines, and caused questions to be raised in Parliament. His most recent feature film (co-written by director Nick Murphy) was The Awakening, a period ghost story starring Rebecca Hall, Dominic West and Imelda Staunton.
PRODUCER – Myf Hopkins
Myf Hopkins is an experienced producer of low budget films, having produced Honeycomb Lodge, directed by Lesley Manning. Myf has also produced and executive produced over 100 low budget short films. Myf started her career as Head of Production for Jim Henderson’s Creature Shop, overseeing visual effects for films from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to Tombraider II and Five Children and It.

Debbie is a Producer and Executive Producer with over 25 years experience in the industry. She formed Genesius Pictures in 2013 with Executive Producer Julian Gleek following their success with award-winning feature film Northern Soul.
